The Certification Advisory Board meets at least twice a year, usually by teleconference, with in-person meetings whenever practical at IAAP events. For more information on requirements and expectation, view the IAAP Certification Advisory Board Criteria.
All members are expected to:

The IAAP Certification Advisory Board is a vital component for our overall certification governance and compliance, ensuring IAAP’s ability to become accredited through the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE).
IAAP is instituting a two part governance structure for certification and phase one is having the Certification Advisory Board in place by the first of November. This board will then approve the Subject-Matter Expert Panel who will develop questions for the IAAP CAP which are representative of the new CAP Body of Knowledge (BOK).
Applications will be accepted through September 30th.
